Short Term Rentals (STR’s) are allowed in River Place. All homeowners and their guests/renters must abide by: 

• City of Austin STR Ordinance

• CCR’s 

• Rules (see 4.23)

If you have concerns/issues with a STR, we suggest you :

1. Contact the homeowner to see if you are able to work through any conflicts.  The City of Austin requires all STR hosts to provide emergency contact info (phone and email) to homes within 100’ of their rental. If the owner is not local, they must provide a local emergency contact.  

If that does not resolve your issues, the next steps include reporting to:
